  This Maxi isn't as big as the Maxi on Maloney but it has the basics and that is great. Even has the bonus on not being filled with people so can be easier to do groceries. And also sometimes has good discounts on items.

  The Maxi is almost right off the Maloney exit. As it is a low frills grocery store, you may not find everything you need, but it stocks the basics in terms of produce and non-perishables. What makes it great is you can shave at least 15% of your total bill as compared to more upscale grocery stores like Loblaws, with basically the same product (I think they have the same supply chain as they are owned by the same corporation.)
  
  Staff is not always present on the floor, but cashiers have always been friendly when I've visited that store.

  Good prices, good customer service. I 'd be wary of buying fresh chicken, though. It's water chilled so there's a ton of bloody loquid in the styrofoam packaging, and it goes rancid faster than the meat does.
